Does anyone know exactly where on the gearbox the reversing light switch is fitted? I am having problems with rear parking sensors not working and have just noticed that the reversing lights are not working either so suspect the switch to be the cause.
Have checked the bulbs (what a pain getting the rear light clusters off!!!)so know thats not the problem.

Thanks for response. I presume one is the automatic box, one the manual. Which is which? Mine is the 5 speed manual.
Brian.

Fault now fixed, was not the reversing light switch but the cam within the selector unit that actually operates the switch. Was not making full contact with the switch - cost £300 plus for diagnosis and complete new selector mechanism.
