hey every1 need sum help here. The white plastic clip( half moon shape ) under clutch pedal broke on friday got it replaced but had to drive it in 2nd gear to a machanic ni it grinds going into 2nd do i need a gearbox?

After changing the clutch ratchet was the clutch adjusted correctly? It may just need adjustment
