I disconnected the battery from my ford mondeo and the radio/cd 6000 RDS EON is locked and asking for CODE.
I bought this car second hand and hence do not have the manual nor the code written anywere.
The serial number of the radio/cd is M210548.
Please, could anyone help me as this is so distressing.

TO ENTER THE SECURITY KEYCODE FOR A FORD
Switch the ignition ON using the key

Switch Radio ON - Display Shows CODE with " - - - - " flashing

Press Preset Button " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit of your KeyCode
Press Preset Button " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit of your KeyCode
Press Preset Button " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit of your Keycode
Press Preset Button " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit of your Keycode
If the display now shows the correct KeyCode number then
Press Preset Button " 5 " to Enter

WRONG ENTRY

If a wrong entry is made , then the display reverts to CODE allowing another attempt.

After a third incorrect attempt, a 30 minute delay ensues before a fourth try may be attempted.

The display shows WAIT 30:00 with the time counting down to 00:00
Once at 00:00 , CODE is displayed again and the unit is ready for another KeyCode attempt.
