Ive just bought a remote central locking key for a mk 1.5 focus 1.4 CL '02. it has never had a central remote key before but just a normal key. It had worn away so i went to buy a remote central locking key at £60. The guy in the shop couldnt do it so he told me to come back after the weekend and hell get someone from another company to come in and do it for an extra price. But i was wondering could i just program it myself? And is my car compatible with remote central locking? Any ideas? Thanks

Instructions for programming a key can be found in the owners handbook, for the ignition part of the programming you need 2 original keys to do it yourself.
