i have a 10 plate smax, my friend gave me a jerry can full of diesel for helping him out one day. went to put it in the car and couldnt as it has a (blonde feature) saftey feature. so u cant put petrol in by mistake, how can i open the flap at home. without damging it at all

unsure of how ford work but my mate had a car like this, in beside the spare wheel there is a special funnel for using a jerry can..

Yep My 09 Mondeo has one of those......
If I cant insert the can, I rest it on the top and pour in slowly! takes slightly longer but the fuel goes in
