Can anyone tell me where I can buy one of these on the "high street"?
Do places such as Halfords sell them?

you probably wont find them on the "high street", Halfords sell one: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_237653_langId_-1_categoryId_165469
Looks pretty basic and is expensive for what it is! checked eurocarparts and they done seem to do them, so your best bet is the likes of ebay.
