Can anyone help please. I have a Ford escort 1998 manual. Then I first drive this in the morning, every time I change gears the engine will rev high. After a while this will stop and all is fine. But if I park and leave the car for anything over 15 mins, The next time I drive it I have the same problem. This is costing me a fortune in petrol so any advise will be great please.
