hey any 1 help av blew the bottom end off my 1.8 petrol blacktop and want to know if a put a 2 litre lump will work with all the 1.8 ancillaries ????[font="Impact"][/font][i][b][color="#0000FF"][/color][/b][/i]

I need to have my 2.0 replaced. I found no end of 1.8 lumps in scrap yards, but was told under no uncertain terms by more than a couple of garages (and a ford dealership) that a 1.8 lump does not directly fit where a 2.0 came out.

I scrapped it in the end, there was just more going wrong with it.

I would assume, therefore, the same is true the other way round.

or ryt thanks mate well am just goin to put another 1.8 lump in my self or am debaitin weather to buy a 2.5 v6 and pay for it to be converted
