I have just brought a 02 fiesta freestyle from someone at work car well looked after (1owner from new)
But there seems to be a knocking noise coming from the left back end of the car only happens when I go over
Bumps, car is due for mot end of may any ideas on what it could be and if it would pass mot???

Have I been sold a sick car???

could be a broken coil spring - mot fail

could be a shock or a bush, see if you can find any movement by yanking on the shock and bushed bits.
will only fail an mot if they can find play in the shock or bushes
