bloody hell! i paid £60.50 (6 months) on my 1.8tdci mk2 focus back in feb and £190 for my 1.6 16v petrol peugeot 307 (annual) when i had it.
yours must be a bad smoker...

Wow...
We paid £71 for 6 months for the 1997 Ford Fiesta 1.25, and I thought that was expensive!
To be honest I think the tax should be much lower for the 1.25s, as mine gets 45MPG on average, and once got to 49MPG on a long run!

Just paid £104.50 for 6 months tax for a 1.3i fiesta on a 51 plate but it was £190 for 1 year tax rip off.

Yeah - so I don't need to buy it until next year...I've got time to save up
I've owned a fair few cars in my time so I've paid lots of tax - I'm glad I'm finally getting a decent deal out of this country's car tax rip off. It wouldn't be so bad if they actually spent the money on fixing the roads!

Hate to really upset you but one of my best buddies has a 2.2 Vectra SRi and thats how much her tax is - thats twice the car body size of yours!!! My lovely 1.8 Focus TD Di is £130 a year now x

Hi the wife has a KA Zetec Climate £165 this is bad as I only pay £20 on my Fiesta 1.6TDCI £245 Taking the p--s or what.
