Hi All,

Just a message to introduce myself as I'm new to the site and a bit of my car history.

I have had a number of Ford cars in the past 13 years since passing my test has a 1998 Fiesta Finesse 1.3 8v, onto a 2000 Fiesta Zetec 1.4 16v and had a 2002 Fiesta Zetec s 1.6 16v. I then moved onto an ST170 Focus in 2004, once the Focus ST-2 was on the scene I got me one of those back in 2006. However things took a downward turn and had to sell it and strayed from Ford and had to buy my first 2nd hand car. I bought a BMW as after having a 5 cylinder turbo I craved the noises bigger engines and more cylinders produce. It hit me hard in the wallet so scrappage scheme was around, discount to boot as my Grandad worked for Ford and got myself a little 1.25 Fiesta Zetec 82 PS. I am now in the process of waiting for my Fiesta Zetec S ( petrol ) in white with Street pack to get to the dealership.

Anyway bored you all enough I guess. 5 weeks time I should hopefully take delivery, a few more horses under the right foot is gonna put a huge smile back on my face

5 weeks you say, is the excitment kicking in yet?

Was told back end of May to early June, end of May is good as I won't have to fork out for road tax on my current car. Week by week that goes now is kinda raising the excitement levels. Going from a 2.8 straight six to a 1.25 is a shock to the system, and now working my way back up to a sub 7 second car ie 'Ford pull the finger out and get the Fiesta ST if not an RS model into production'. Unlikely but we can all live in hope!
