Caan anyone help me, this is driving me insane... My ford streetka alarm keeps going off i have to lock it with the key. it dosn't go off straight away its after about 1 minute an half. i have checked the roof and the convertable button than opens the roof all seems okay. i am really confused as it dosn't go off immediatley. Any one help?

Check the switch under the bonnet is clean and dry with good connections. It could be that which is triggering it.

checked that all cleaned and seems to be okay, checked all the connections to the alarm, door switched boot etc. Strange thing is the alarm only goes off once then stops. Now I am really confused. Any advise would be appreciated as now I am really confused.

I think the alarm is supposed to only go off once unless it is triggered by something else, as there are legal issues about alarms that keep going off or dont stop (including house alarms).

Have you checked the switch under the hood compartment lid
