Hello, I have a problem with my 2000my ford focus 2.0 esp.

recently noticed loss of coolant, then, after car stood for a few hours, it would missfire like hell on start up.
I bought some plugs and leads to replace just in case but on removing the plug from no3 cylinder, I can see water in the cylinder.
Guess ive found cause of missfire and coolant loss.

Anyone got any experience of this, am I looking at head gasket or possibly even worse???

Sounds like a head gasket or even a cracked head to me

yeah ide say gasket the 2.0litre head doesnt like being skimmed in fact you shouldnt skim them at all as they will never be right its cheaper to buy a second hand engine and have it fitted
