Has anybody ever changed their fuel filter on a TDCI and not been able to start it again??
All done now but what a nightmare !!
Wont be changing again in a hurry, lol

Did you fill the filter with diesel before fitting? you need to try and remove as much air as possible or you will have starting problems..

been there got the brochure. well on the a 1.8tdci. theres a link on my sig.
anyways it turned out i was leaking air into the system by not putting the rubber seal on properly...doing it again this service.

All been covered already! make sure its fitted securely and with no gaps, and fill with diesel to eliminate as much air as possible. Also make sure you fitted the filter the right way round!
