hi all am just woundering if anyone can help me is it ok to mix 10w-40w with 5w-40w ? thanks in advance lee

Has long has the 10w-40w is ok for your car.

i have been useing 10w-40w as thats what i was told to use but i have 2lts of 5w-40w so a fort if i could mix it with that it would save me wasting it lol

Pretty sure you can the numbers relate to the thickness of the oil when the engine is cold
