hi the engine management light on my ford ka has come on the water and oil levels a fine but i don't know what the light means as i do not have a manual. can anyone help me??

EML means that something has gone aray, it could be anything from simple fluids, to a faulty component or sensor. As you dont seem to have many of the original documents, and you wont be able to read the codes, I suspect you will have to visit your dealer!
