Hi,
I am opting out of my company car acheme and really fancy the Mondeo!
I am just about to buy a 59 plate Mondeo 2.0 Edge which is an ex company car (Northgate,) i inspected the service book which has no stamps at all in it
The salesman informed me that Ford now copy BMW and no longer stamp books as all the detail is on the Ford database which i find odd?
The paperwork with the car contains copies of job sheets but not from Ford dealers
Is it true that the database takes priority over the service book?
If the services were done by none Ford Dealers is the remainder of the warranty void?
Many thanks

Me too, maybe if their doing a fleet of cars though they just put it on the system, im sure being a company car it would have a full service history

Thanks for the replies
Something to be concerned about
I'll pop into a Ford dealer tomorrow and ask them to look on the database
Thanks again

as long as Ford approved parts were used there shouldn't be a problem, but while your at the Ford dealer I would ask how they feel about doing any warranty work should there be a need.
