Thanks for the Vote of Confidence Ash,
My reg was screwed on with two self tapping Philips head screws,
Ford has two aligned grommets in the grill to make alignment a breeze,
Although the plates are fitted by the dealers so they may not have used these grommets,
My dealer didn’t so rather than buying a whole new plate I just aligned the reg plate on the new grill marked out the holes, then drilled a 2mm pilot hole in the markings
This makes it easy to screw in as when you hold the reg plate up to the grill, you can’t physically see behind it to know if you’re on the right mark,
Drilling a pilot hole first means the point of the screw will slot in and you know its level then.
It’s easier to perform this action before fitting the new grill to the car.
Also their are white caps on the screw that hold the reg plate on,
To remove these jut get a small flat headed screw driver put it to the side of the white cap and flip it off,
I’ve upgraded to anti-theft screw kit from Richbrook Click Here although the stock ones you have are perfect, and these can be applied to the car at any time,
each to their own taste i suppose,
also please upload a picture of it fitted when youre finished mate.

H, cheers for explanation. I went into Halfords and seen if they had anything specialised for this. They did, I got a pack of 3 strips of strong double sided tape designed for reg plates, These cost me only £2.50 but i bet you can prob get the same cheap on ebay or elswhere but £2.50 is worth it if in need straight away.
