Hello everyone,

My girlfriends mum has a 59 plate focus titanium. on her radio she has what looks like an answer and hang up button. Is it possiable to get bluetooth fitted to the car through the radio using these buttons? or will it only work with a parrot like system?

It may already have bluetooth , which stereo is fitted and on the steering wheel audio control does it have a "voice" button?

nah she hasnt got the voice control.
Does this mean she cannot have it built in?

Don't know if it helps, but from what i can gather, the two phone buttons on the stereo are just mute [pause on a cd] buttons - i thought the same hwen i bought my focus zetec

They are only mute buttons it is only possible to have a bluetooth fitted to work with these when fitted at the factory best bet is to get a parrot sytem

Hi Mitchell,
the bluetooth Module can be purchased from Ford or Ebay [url="http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-bluetooth-voice-control-module-BT-VC-part-number-8M5T-19G488-AN-/230677697749?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item35b57654d5"]Click Here [/url]
the unit is mounted at the back of the glovebox and not part of the stereo, you dont need a Ford factory to fit it mate, just a couple of screw drivers
you will however need ford to electronicly sync this part in to the system once fitted,
this is just a quick programme on the computer to tell the car it has bluetooth installed,

unless you have it fitted already check the voice button, or press the pick up button see does it say no phone selected,
also scroll through the menus
