Hi all, a mate of mine has just bought an oldish galaxy. The problem is that the electric windows do not work. He says that he looked on Autodata which says there is a control module under the passenger seat. He says that there is no module or wiring for one under the passanger seat. Has anyone got any idea where else it may be?

Cheers, Paul.

I also have the exact same problem , I'm told there maybe wiring that's broken in the door gaiters . But would appreciate some more info .

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

known problem is the wiring in the door gaitors, make sure you check everyone including the gaitor in the rear hatch as this can also cause problems, pull the rubber away and carefuly check each wire you may even have to test them as just because they look ok doesnt mean there not broken within.

if you need anymore advice i can point you in the right direction just pm me.

Slightly different question on electric mirrors. I've got one that's completely broken off and needs replacing and if I remember correctly that the mk2 electric mirror will also fit on the mk1 and that the mk2.5 changed from an 8 pin connector to a 16 pin one?
