Hi,
I am having to replace the gearbox in my MK1 Yr-2000 Focus Zetec and would like to know which gearbox is fitted to this car. Anybody have any clues ?
Also, any suggestions as to where is best to look for a replacement ?

The mk1 ('98 - early '05) uses the IB5 gearbox in the 1.4 - 1.6 litre engines. The 1.8 and 2.0 focus use the mtx75 gearbox. Best to try a low milage one from a scrappy.
