Ok so purchased this, cost €79.00 inc vat. Very nice bit of kit and easy to fit too. Just note that the wiring instructions are wrong and if you follow them it'll be on all the time 24/7 ! So did a bit metering and found that PIN 16 (green/yellow wire) at the rear of the stereo is the best place to tap the live into. It'll be on in ACC and engine running (lights on or off) and it'll be off when keys out. Richie

And THIS would be what exactly?

am i right in thinking you cant get one of these 'Illuminated Knobs' with a 6th gear on it?

and the power lead to it plugs in behind the stereo?? is it an easy job?

oh just realised the reverse on the gear stick is in the wrong place for my type of focus:-(

I just stripped the wire before it gets to the block, without cutting it and joined it in. You can use 'crocodile' clips either which will do the same so you dont need to cut any wires. The knob comes with the wires and an inline 1amp fuse on the live so its protected from surge aswell.
