Recently got a new Focus (MK3) 1.6 TDCi Zetec

Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any hidden footwell lights in the same way that a lot of the MK2's had the socket for the bulb, but no bulb.

I can't see anything obvious and thought I would ask if anyone else has lighting and where it is, before I go dismantling the car

Hi,
can you see any little grey disc around the 10cm under the dash next to the heater vent for the footwells

HI, they are LED lights and mounted on the far right hand side of the drivers footwell just under where the carpet joins the dash, and again on the passengers side. If you like I could post photos.

A picture would be great. I had a looks, but couldn't see anything obvious ... even had a quick peek behind the carpet.

I am beginning to fear they have limited this to the Titainium X with it's ambient lighting

Had a look again

I have plastic surround, but no holder, or lens cover. I also can't see any wires that would appear to run in that direction.

Had a quick peek again behinf the carpet and there is a loom with some black tape on it
- Didn't manage to get all the tape off, but nothing looked like spare wires

Can you see up behind the light to the wires to try and get an idea of the colours?
