When I press the clutch in I hear a rattling noise from the engine (sounds like pan lids rattling)

When I'm in a gear/drive the sound stops..

It only does it when the clutch is in... I can engage all gears with no problems and it still drives fine upto 5th gear... tho noise is present in all gear changes..

Any advice/recommendation would be amazing... cheers

sounds like the clutch thrust bearing playing up, if you decide to renew you might as well put a clutch in while the gearbox is off.
