Hi all
I have owned a 59 plate Ford Ka for 8 months.
I have recently started hearing a grinding noise from the front of the car when i am coming to a stop.
Any ideas what this could be and would warranty cover it?
thanks!

sounds like disk's are worn or pads gone
most prob pads 7 it will not be under warranty as it's a wer n tear part if you know what i mean
go to a garage your familiar with not frauds & eplane the prob & they will do a free brake check for you
you could try some brake & disk cleaner on the pads as they may just be dirty

It'll be new discs and pads.
It cost me £108 last time at an independent workshop. £48 parts, 3 hours labour at £20/Hr
Edit: Also: Its dangerous to drive with knackered pads and disks. Limp it to a garage you trust not to rip you off.

It was a chap I found near the Jordenthorpe estate in Sheffield. He did a good job. And did LPG conversions. Lost his details now though..
