On a 1.6 Focus zetec can anyone tell me what would cause the engine warning/management light to come on and stay on????? It should come on with the ignition and then go out when the car starts but it stays on.cheaked for codes and there is none on the self test and none on a code reader. The car runs fine.
It the orange one in the bottom lefthand side of the dash clock panel. The engine runs fine, Does anyone know what could be the cause? thanks

the problem could be a ford specific code, and not all code readers will pick them up.
