Just purchased a Y Reg MK3 TDDI estate which hesitates under acceleration , also when you accelerate its very noisey then it will hesitate and the engine will quiet down, its not as loud as diesel knock but rattles , is this the beginning of injector failure? there is a fair bit of diesel sitting in the pots on injector 2 and 3, Also ive changed the fuel filter which made no difference, it will start fine but if you leave it for more than a day its a real pig to start

Any help would be great

if there is diesel around the injectors then there must be a leaking union or the seals have gone,it will be a pig to start due to air entering the system and the diesel will syphon back.
