could anyone give me help my mk6 fiesta gearstick is very stiff although it goes into gear ok and it is not stiff in neutral could anyone give me advice

Its probably just the cold weather up your way. The gear oil is probably thickening in the cold weather making gear changes feel like you are moving a stick through treacle.

Years ago I had a scare when driving my XR3i 200 miles on the motorway, only to come to a point where I needed to change gear, and couldnt get the car out of 5th. All because of the freezing temperatures.
