Hi everyone..some litte w****r tried to break into my car last night and broke it...can you get this spare and whats the name and is it much of a job to repair...big thanks for any replies

It's door pillar trim.
Should be a clip on part.
Why oh why do scrotes try to break in to cars through the windows - do they still expect to be able to open the door and stick a screwdriver in the lock?
Next thing they'll be walking around with slim jims and scaffold poles like the old days.
Bloody morons, they cause more cost through damage getting in to cars than anything they could usually steal from a car.
They never learn.

well i took my mondeo mk4 for it servise this morning..and got the new door piller trimfrom fordthey fitted it free of charge and a front fog light aswell .even washed the car and vallet ..well pleased with ford service..

That's a good result, glad it's all sorted. My father's Colt has similar damage but it's to the actual metal of the door. Being a Motobility car they will probably pull it up when he returns it and it will be a claim on the insurance, we have a crime reference number so it should all go smoothly but he will be £75 less because of the excess. Hate people who go around doing this to people's cars!
