Eeeek i hope someone can help me.......

When i start my car up occasionally it will start then just stall..even when reving it up. Once the car has started and i pull away there is no go in the car and the temp gauge needle shoots up to red untill the car had been driven a few minutes,then gauge goes back to normal........

sounds like its choking, change the air, oil, and fuel filters, and change the oil as well, also consider changing the spark plugs, and by the sounds of it the thermostat may need replacing, or at least that and the sensors should be reviewed...
