I've got 1.8 tdci 57 plate focus. The car won't start if parked on a hill facing up as if the fuel is draining back into the tank. I've had injectors checked, I've had a new return valve fitted not sorted it, I'm resorted to parking the car downhill at home and work. Help appreciated!!

Sounds like an Split pipe allowing air in the fuel rail pipes allowing it drain back , can you smell diesel under the bonnet or under the car. Check al the diesel return pipes.

Yeah I thought split pipes, I've had a new return valve fitted thought that would cure it but no luck, you can smell diesel under car/bonnet.
