I have a 2004 Fusion, the Quick Clear only works on one half of the screen.
Is there an obvious place to go look for a loose connection?

Under the scuttle you will find a wire and a coated copper connection - browse the forum and you will find plenty of info on finding the problem and the remedy. 
also check the fuses as most fords have a fuse for each side of the screen.
