Hi. I have had a recent turbo and DPF. Now and again I loose power intermittently. It's as if someone is applying the brakes on and off. I Have recently drove my car trying to get the best mpg, last night on my way home from work I put my foot down a bit that's when it started again.
Could this be a faulty turbo actuator Opening before it should? As I said it does not happen all the time only now and again, although I don't seem to have a great deal of boost at higher revs (3.000 rpm)

Any help would be great.

yes, it regulates the manifold pressure and the fuel to the engine, so when the turbo kick in it as the right amount air and fuel for the turbo boost. some people will say that it never goes, but it can and does..have your car codes read frist, be for you buy one, they are not cheap..
