Posted recently about slight hesitation from engine on acceleration in low revs and got a coil pack priced up at GK Ford today - £160! Aargh. Thought i'd start at the cheapest end and try a new set of plugs and wondered do they come with the correct electrode gap or does it need to be set? If so anyone know what it should be on 2001 2.0 petrol (duratech).

haynes manual says 1.3 mm but ford say 1mm

clean them before you set them and dont use a wire brush or anything abrasive.
