Have recently purchased a Ford Fiesta Titanium 1.4. Lovely car to drive but the only problem is we cannot hear the sound from the speaker when the rear sensors need to work.Have been to Ford service dept. and they said it is the best they can do.We feel it may constitute a danger when reversing because it is suppose to aid reversing,at the moment it is a hinderance.Any views on this would be appreciated.

i had the same problem, i located the controlle box for the sensors by following the sensor wires and then located the sounder box and moved it to a position which it could be heard more clearly.

My sounder is behind the drivers side A pillar cover and is too loud.
It makes the wife jump every time.
I've stuck a small bit of tape over it to mute it slightly.
