[color=#BCBCBC]Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give some advice...???[/color]

[color=#BCBCBC]I've a 2007 MK4 Mondeo.[/color]

[color=#BCBCBC]Yesterday, I went to change the temperature, but when I moved the control knob I felt a "click". almost as if something had become disconnected behind the actual knob.[/color]

[color=#BCBCBC]The knob still turns, but the temperature stays the same (the coolest setting as it was before I tried to change it).[/color]

[color=#BCBCBC]Now I assume that it’s connected to a cable or another control? Has anyone ever had this problem?[/color]

[color=#BCBCBC]I'm going to pull the fascia off later and see if there is anything obvious, but any advice would be appreciated?[/color]

Probably the cable has come loose behind the dial or a clip has broken.
You'll most likely spot the problem quickly.
