I have a 2010 Mondeo TDCI. There is an intermittant fault with the bluetooth mobile phone connection and I have to do a reset before the car connects to the phone. The car has been in to Evans Halshaw but they are unable to do anything as there are no diagnostic codes showing up. Also the car alarm has gone of for no reason a few times in the last couple of weeks, don't know if this is related. No codes to no warranty repair from Ford. Anyone got any ideas please?

Other than finding a more capable dealer? There are other ways (provided by Ford) than only following DTCs. If you have the USB input, you can download the software and update the handsfree module yourself:

If you don't, your dealer can do the update (if he finds the instructions ...).

As I wrote, if you don't have the USB connection, your dealer can perform the update (with a service cable connected to the USB on the module itself).
