hi was wondering if any one can help me, i've changed the inlet manifold today and everything was going great after checking and triple checking every connection i started the engine this is when the problem started the engine started and revved up to 6000 revs to which i turned the engine off, please can someon help im going out of my mind as to what it could be?????

I would try disconnecting the battery for a while to clear the ECU and then try again.

If that doesnt work, it could be the throttle stuck open as I cant see an air leak would let it rev that high.
