Excellent write up stoney,
this guide will be a great help to others and the focus looks alot better and more streamline with the colour coded rear spoiler fitted.

Thanks for the good comments Lenny, i really think it looks far better than the plain matte black standard one.
The MK2.5 one really flows better and tidies up the back end.

Very glad i did it.

looks good only 1 comment its advised to put silicone on both sides of the 3rd brake light seal, the original can leak and the water gets into the roof lining, also when removing the 3rd brake light screws there should be a rubber oring on each check the condition and replace if necessary.
you beat me to it i took the pics when doing my spoiler to do a guide also lol

Same principle to fit a spoiler from a Focus ST.
How about upgrading to some mk2.5 rear lights? Maybe with some LEDs in the top half a la ST/RS?

Valid points indeed, i haven't sealed around the light as the foam seal there is in good condition and i am likely to change the light for a clear LED one soonish.
Sorry i beat you to the draw, please still lob up the pictures, maybe you'll have angles i missed and could maybe integrate them into my guide with your permission, (a credit will be added to you).
