1300 miles on the clock and the N/S drive shaft oil seal is leaking, only ever so slightly to be fair, but its still leaking never the less.

Thank goodness for progress. In the 1960s you were given a six month warranty. In the 1980s it went up to twelve months. It was only recently that every body is giving three year warranty. Look at Kia giving a seven year warranty!!

Perhaps putting the reg number into etis [url="http://www.etis.ford.com/"]http://www.etis.ford.com/[/url] and looking at Outstanding Field Service Actions might reveal it. If not your dealership should know.

Useful links thanks, mine is a 1.6 petrol but I presume the problem will be shared across both variants.

I have tried to get into the etis link, and I get this error message -

Hi, must be a temporary fault as I'm getting that too. Didn't realise you have got a petrol, in that case I don't think the TSB applies..
