Okay so I have been looking for a touch screen stereo to replace the standard rounded shape ford stereo (6000cd??)

Anyone have an views on which might be best value for money??

ebay do all of them but cheaper mate they are all chinese

I had the second one in my last Focus.

Good points:
DVD image quality good.
Satnav good especially as you can use any Windows PDA software. I used iGo8.
Reversing camera was great and switched automatically when car was put into reverse gear.

Not so good points:
Sound quality not as good as a standard radio.
TV waste of time as you need an aerial the size of one you would put on your house.
Radio signal not as good as standard radio.
Unbelievable amount of wireing to get in the dash behind the unit.
Canbus is a bit hit and miss. I still had volume control but couldnt seek channels from the stalk. Only change to another preset channel.

If you do buy one, dont pay more than £250 for it as they arent worth any more than that in my opinion.
