After a very frustrating couple of hours i have read the threads on here and managed to get access to the door lock by removing the black box. However i was trying to solve the problem as to why the door lock will not un lock but it will lock fine. All the rods are connected but for some reason the white box which is connected to the door lock doesnt seem to be allowing the door to unlock. im no expert but i am unsure if the door lock itself is broken or if its the white door latch. Just don't want to waste my money and go any buy a new door lock when it could be the white door latch. Could someone please let me know what they think it is please.

Locking solenoid most likely.

My passenger door will not unlock, which means that I can not get the door panel off to even look at anything......can anyone help

Will the internal handle not unlock the door?

Ford focus estate

My puma was the same as 1st post it was the latch faulty, see a lot of fords with this problem
