First post so ill introduce myself.
Just bought a 2002 focus LX, 51000 miles, great condition inside and out.
I actually bought it for the missus as shes learning to drive, couple of minor issues I need to sort do ill post them up in the other forum.

the people in here seem kinda than the Land Rover forum im with, jeez. Already had some straight talking answers for the the queeries i made in the focus forum.
On land rover site its more of a piss take forum, excuse the french, am i allowed to swear here?

As the for the car. I dunno about anyone else but the 1.6 focus has incredible performance, the throttle response is amazing, feels more like a 2.0, and drives like new. Really suprised me when i put my foot down, my dad used to have the 2.0 Ghia which was great handling and responsive so i thought the 1.6 wouldnt be all that great, just a good little learner car and no more than that but it left me feeling pleased i bought it.
I used to have an old Escort 1.8 GTI, this focus would murder it.
