Focus 1.6 TDCI when going uphill loses power and EML warning is on ,also D900 code when I performed self diagnose.

Not immediately been able to find anything relating to that code. Initial thoughts though on other forums, relate to the fuel mix running lean or heavy.
have you checked the filters, specifically the fuel filter?
