Can anyone help with how to remove the o/s front wing on a Mk 1 Focus? Looks to be just bolt in, but Haynes manual is no help...

nope i've no idea how to change a wing 
little confused here...wing or wing mirror? if its wing mirror then matty2008 is perfectly correct.
Well he does say wing, so I'm guessing Matty2008 is completely incorrect.

Nope, I definately said wing... not wing mirror!! 
It's bolt on/off - but just want to check no hidden probs before i start, esp as it's so cold outside...

sorry. i thought i had done in such a tongue-in-cheek way, that anyone with half a sense of humour would realise what had happened. but i guess thats wasted on some.

Hi markw here, maybe able to help u, if your focus is around ayear 2000. I changed my nearside wing.
first jack up your car and take off the road wheel, then take off the the wheel liner ( plastic one piece) should be help in place by crosshead screws.
there is a couple of 10mm bolts under the front bumper take them out, open the door there is a bolt at the bottom just by the door hindges, then the bolts that run along the top of th wing under the bonnet, then just undo the wing indicator.
HOPE THIS HELPS<TOOK ME ABOUT AN HOUR MY FIRST TIME>
