They are $332.47 which is £211.47 + postage at £25.50 estimated.
delivery in 10 days including weekends but 10 days before dispatch so total lead time 20 days including weekends,
and they are available with dark blue stitch and piping,
top job.

Hi guys, sorry for off topic but Lenny
160665068834
Check them out on eBay, sorry no link as using the eBay iPhone app

Also I'm sure those seat covers won't fit half as good as my tailor made ones, I bet for 300 - 350 jc seat covers would do a proper fitted set in that design and would be any colour scheme you want.

thanks mate,
those ones are manual alignment but they also sell the ones with the electric mootor in them for £20 more i think,
so the wheel that goes 0-4 next to the light control switch would still work,
thanks for the link mate, and tomorrows friday so ill take some tine and go through ecat for you.
Haz93
Okay thanks mate will be much appreciated.
Also found these 320946631792 which have the chrome bit above the high beam, like the xenon ones which look smart too

Haven't driven at night yet, so not sure if they are good or not!

Did the clear coat on the black bonnet strip today too, can't wait for it to dry!
gc88
I'm fed up of waiting for the bonnet strip to dry (lacquer.)

It's been since 1600hrs on friday. Is that enough time for it to harden properly do we reckon?
Stoney871
Should be dry enough by now.

Paddy H
You ought dig in your pocket and pull out 5r and get it hand washed, no excuses dave. Your letting the team down, were not angry mate... Just dissapointed ;)
TDCiST
I am too much of a perfectionist when it comes to my car to let some unwashed man wash my car in a supermarket car park lol

I thought we were still under a hosepipe ban in herts... I could be wrong tho

Stoney871
One option-

Haz93
If it comes down to not being able to use a hose I think you could atleast use mr muscle!!! and some elbow grease :P
TDCiST
It's far too dirty to use elbow grease straight off..... Think of the swirls I'll get in the paintwork!!!!

It's got to have a snowfoam wash first!! Lol

See! Perfectionist!
Paddy H
Wheres the best cheapest place get this snow foam from lads? I want try it on my car.
artscot79
showroom shine if used correctly you wont get swirlmarks
TDCiST
I use cleanyourcar.com... Bought foam and lance attachment from there
gc88
Washed it again last night.

At 3am.

Also finished off my additional boot light. Can't wait for dark now to try them out!

Got some more LEDs coming for mirror lights!
gc88
Boot is REALLY bright thanksto the additional light!

Also, bought this ;

Richbrook ford torch. It's a bit smaller than I expected, and not as bright, but if I'm ever stuck without light then I have that in my cig ligther, always charged!
One for size ;

Also have a black richbrook tax disc holder! Woop looks much better and 0% chav!

looks good mate,
and great the way they are rechargable.
ive got one of these torches in mine, its 8 led and alluminium casing,
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3f0bd0feca
accepts 3 AAA batterys via the adaptor or one D battery depending on how you wish to power it.
came in handy back in the snow and people thought i was a copper in the dar due to the 6000k tin of the leds. lol
always good to carry a torch in the car,
never know when you might need it, for yourself or other road users.

WOOOP

Been a while!

I just wished my car a happy 3rd birthday by getting it a MOT certificate, thankfully no faults.

It had an advisory that brake pads are getting a bit thin.. but i'll deal with that post christmas!

I'm looking at doing the easy bits of the service myself, so if anyone's interested i'll let you know how it goes!

Also, if anyone had done it and has hints / tips.. :)
gc88
typically, my battery in my key is now low, so my car tells me.

here, have a new key battery for your birthday too.
gc88
My car is.covered in so many car park Dinks. Eugh.

New air filter was ment to come today, but never showed up! Yodel!!

I'm debating drilling a few holes in my air box, but its a funny shape with the filter being round...!
Lenny
Dont drill the air box,
Remove the slam panel to locate the end of the snorkle,
Then drill a hole in the slam panel to allow more air in to snorkle,
Then create a stainless lid to cover hole on slam panel but scoop air from front.

The airbox is designed to spin air around the filter but the snorkle sucks in.
TDCiST
hello mate, good to see your still around...

you not tempted by a K&N filter or some other brand??
gc88
Eagerly awaiting the k&n!
TDCiST
i've been wondering if the 57i kit will fit the focus, as its made for the ST...
gc88
I won't be going that far myself.

Not yet anyway!

Remove the slam panel for 3-4 weeks, you will feel more responss and grunt from the exhaust.
It takes a couple of weeks for the greater air flow to eventually clear its way through the dpf etc. To reveal a free system

Now I'm interested.

What is this slam panel and what does it do?

Oh, and dpf?
The slam panel is the plastic panel that sits above the upper grill and helps slam air through the grill on the car.
But due to the design of fords air intake snorkle; it reduices air intake to the snorkle head.

And the dpf is the honycombe filter in your exhaust ßystem that catches the carbon,
Greater mass of air intake
Results in
Greager mass of blow out through the exhaust,
Resulting in the growel but will take a few weeks for full effect.
gc88
Sounds like you know your stuff...

How easy is it and what bit do I remove?

Is it there to aid filtration of big objects or anything?
Lenny
I wouldnt leave it permanently removed due to cosmstic reasons.

Instead
Id locate the snorkle opening on the slam plate and drill a series of holes in a cosmetic friendly formation to both aid induction and look good.

The filter itself blocks all objects and removal of slam panel wont open up the filter housing.
It will open the ammount of air available to the snorkle to be sucked in to the filter.
At worst a leaf or two would get next to your filter inside the housing.
gc88
Fair enough Lenny!

K&n e-2993 filter arrived and fitted!
gc88
I'm back..
