hi ihave a 54 plate fusion2 it has built in reversing sensors, if i have a tow bar fitted i.e to tow a caravan or trailer how does this affect the sensors on my car

I suppose it depends on if the towbar is going to be in the way of the sensor array. If it is low enough it may not effect the signal. Obviously a great big caravan attached to the back will.

I'm pretty sure that when you have towbars fitted the sensors need recalibrating to allow for the intrusion into the detection zone.

Blimey. I didnt know you could even get these calibrated.
