i have a ford focus 2.5 series 2006 model, how do i adjust the handbrake?
on my earlier 2.0 series model it was adjustable from the centre console beneath the lever but i can't see it on this one. thanks Ben.

If your car is a 2006 then it's a mk2, anyhow the adjuster nut should still be on the base of the handbrake.

yup Clive is right, you will need to pull the plastic trim up though IIRC

thank you, but how do i get the plastic trim of, there doesn't seem to be any screws and the the leather surround won't pull out without tearing.

The plastic trim at the base of the handbrake unclips from the rear first and then you work around it.
