1.8 petrol focus


I've had this gentle knocking noise that sounds like its coming from the passenger side front. Today it sounded a little nosier than usual.

It only happens at slow speed, especially stop start driving and on gentle braking.

I'm just wondering from that description what you might think it is ? and where I should start looking.

Could be wheel bearings, CV joint, loose suspension joint.... try driving it on full lock to see if it gets worse, if it does possibly CV joint. Otherwise a trip to the garage could be in order....

Its the top mount on the shocker that is worn.
