Hi I am new to this forum - I have a Fusion plus and my boot release has stopped working, it no longer works using the key fob or internal release. On the odd occasion i can get it to work, i had the same problem with my last Fusion (54 plate) and didnt get it resolved then, i just bought a new one but i am now having the same problem with this one. It is just out of warranty (April) so no one is willing to help. I hope someone has some ideas on here please. Thank you.

It sounds like a power fault.
Check wiring for damage and earth faults and the motor for a blown solenoid.
